The double cross-carry – from birth onwards

Also suitable for twins!
(when the babies can hold their heads firmly by themselves)

This variation is also very suitable for carrying twins. The babies are inserted into the loops on the hips one after the other, and can therefore be carried by
one person for a short time.

Please do not forget, however, that this method of carrying gets very difficult after a while because you are carrying two babies. This is why we only recommend this method of carrying for short periods, because mothers who have already given birth to two babies should not put too much strain on their
pelvic floor or their caesarean scar.

If you want to carry both children, we recommend that you consider buying a second sling. For the partner, the parents… and anyone else who wants to help you.

The advantage of the double cross-carry method (whether carrying one or two children) is that it can be pre-teid without the child. If you are at home and your baby wants to have a rest or sleep, or he is teething or colicky, you can take him out and put him back in as often as you like. If the weather is bad, you can also pre-tie it at home where you are nice and dry. You can use this version from birth onwards once you have got the knack, and also later when the baby is getting bigger and heavier, because the weight is very evenly distributed across your back.
